Introduction to the Book of Deuteronomy - Be Careful to Obey
As the Children of Israel stood at the door of the Promised Land, Moses reviewed their journey through the wilderness. Together they remembered God’s powerful acts and His loving care. But most of all the Israelites heard endless pleas from the heart of a God who called them His treasures…they must be careful to obey all He had taught them. Only then would this relationship be preserved, and only then would they enjoy His abundant blessings forever. May we listen closely to those pleas…for we too are God’s treasures!
