Empty, formless, dark…do these words paint a picture of your life? You may feel like the strong person you used to be has slowly been chipped away until there’s nothing left to hold you together. The darkness in which you find yourself floating feels so black that your weary eyes cannot see even a speck of light.
At some point in our lives, all of us have felt like the earth before creation. But let’s not forget the second half of that dark verse, “…and the Spirit of God was hovering over its surface.” The earth was not alone in its empty, formless state. The Spirit of GOD, Elohim, was right there on the scene!
Elohim knew He was about to light up the darkness. Elohim knew that astounding miracles were about to transpire at the sound of His voice. Elohim knew the curtain was about to open to a new beauty no human could ever imagine.
Elohim is hovering over your darkness, too, and He knows exactly what HE is about to do next!
